Mitchell Farms Peanuts

At Mitchell Farms, we grow 300 to 500 acres of peanuts. We have fresh green peanuts available for you purchase from late July through mid-November. We also have dry peanuts from September until they are gone, usually a few weeks into December.

If it does not rain and if the equipment does not break down, peanuts are harvested daily.

*We try to have a good supply on hand, but its always good to call for availability before you come. 601-765-8609.

Green Peanuts

Green peanuts are fresh dug peanuts, and will need to be boiled or frozen soon after purchase. These peanuts are perishable, and make the best boiled peanuts.

Dry Peanuts

These peanuts have been dried, and are best for parching or roasting. Dry peanuts, when stored properly, will keep for a long time. Dry peanuts can also be boiled.
