• Peanuts
• Vegetables
• Blueberries
• Pine Plantation
• Pumpkin Patch
• Maze
• Historic Cabins
These are some of the things you will enjoy and learn about at Mitchell Farms. Our cabins and other buildings have been built from timber found here on our land. That timber is cut and sized on our own saw mill, and the buildings designed and constructed by the Mitchell family using this timber.
Tours are available year round, and content will vary by season. Your class will travel by wagon through the fields to learn about our vegetables, blueberries, timber, and life on the farm. This is a working farm growing peanuts, corn, wheat, and soybeans, plus a large acreage of pick your own vegetables and blueberries.
Pumpkin Patch-Each child picks a pumpkin from our manicured fieldThe wagon ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. The wagons are large so your group can stay together. Total tour time is 2.5 to 3 hours, including your time at the pavilion. You may bring your own
lunches if you wish.
