U-PICK GARDENS
We wish to offer a special thank you to everyone who came out and bought
produce from us this summer. |

| At Mitchell Farms, 500 acres of peanuts are
planted each year. And, our reputation is built on quality, therefore, if it does not rain
and if the equipment does not break down, green peanuts are harvested daily from late July
until mid November. Dry peanuts are available from September through December. |
Butterbean Picker
|
The U-pick
vegetables include green and speckled butterbeans; pink-eye-purple-hull peas, purple-hull
crowder peas, silver-hull crowder peas, Dixie Lee peas; zipper-cream peas; okra; tomatoes;
and squash. Watermelons and canteloupes are already picked. Shelled butterbeans and peas
are grown on the farm and picked fresh daily, which is why our shelled butterbeans and
peas are the best. Our gardens are tidy and kept free of weeds and grass, making them
easily accessible.

below. Please call and place your order for shelled butterbeans and peas, prior to
pick-up, and to make certain that seasonal U-pick vegetables are available.
