We would like to say a special thank you to all of our customers
who helped make our u-pick garden successful this year. We hope
to see you this fall - buying peanuts and visiting the Pumpkin
Patch.
Valencia Red, Virginia White, and Jumbo peanuts are now being
harvested!!!
Dry peanuts will be ready
by mid-September.

The Meadows - by
Joyce's Catering, Collins, MS
This country setting is home to one of the area's most unique facilities capable of
accommodating large groups in need of banquet space. Joyce and Dan Pickering own and
operate The Meadows and welcome group tour buses by reservation.
Follow the Hot Coffee Trail. Step back in time with a visit to Hot
Coffee, MS and Mitchell Farms, McDonald's Store, J & H Harper Grocery,
and Powell Drug Store, Est. in 1904. Near Hot Coffee is the Old German
Baptist Area with Martha's Kitchen & Roger's Basketry. The Covington
County Chamber of Commerce will assist you in setting up a tour of this area. ms@covingtonchamber.com
Landrum's Country and Homestead Village, Laurel, MS
This unique village is a re-creation of a late 1800's settlement, reminiscent of Southern
days gone by. The Living History Museum comes to life with over 50 buildings and displays,
nestled in a beautifully landscaped setting, covering over 10 acres of lush pecan trees,
streams and southern foliage.

Beautiful antiques in abundance. Browse through this large inventory of
American and European antiques.

collectible dolls can also be found in this treasure trove of fine antiques and

Collins Antiques & More Mall, Collins, MS
Browse through antiques, collectibles, and flea market items offered by more than 30
dealers throughout this 15,000 sq. ft. building.
Pope Company General Store, Collins, MS
c. 1913. This "country mall" takes up half a city block and offers everything
from groceries, to feed and seed supplies, to clothing, shoes, appliances, etc. Then there
are those hard to find items, like... horse collars, old sewing machine parts, corn
cutters, white oak baskets, and honest-to-goodness homemade ice cream.
Martha's Kitchen, Mt. Olive, MS
What used to serve "just plain, good food," is
now a gift shop and show room. Visitors will find displays of Diehl
Brothers' handcrafted furniture,
handmade quilts, homemade jellies, jams and baskets. Groups welcome.
Powell's Drug Store, Mt. Olive, MS
Step back in time and enjoy the charm of this turn-of-the-century drug store.
Roger's Basketry, Mt. Olive, MS
Beautiful handcrafted baskets, dyed from local pecan or black walnut shells. Also re-cane
rockers and chair seats. Workroom and showroom together. Gift shop with baskets and homemade
soap.
